The Garden Club of Yarmouth is holding a Plant Sale on May 22, at the Howard Lodge, Route 28 in South Yarmouth. Annuals from Green Spot, perrennials from members gardens, and baked goods will be on sale.

The Lower Cape Rose Society has 20 seats remaining on a bus tour going to Fuller Gardens on June 15, 2010. The bus leaves the Harwich Community Center at 7:30 am, and will return around 6 pm. Cost is $25 plus admission to the garden ($5.50). A check for $25.00 payabe to LCRS can be sent to Audrey Osborne at 12 Scotch Pine Farm, East Harwich, MA, or contact Audrey at Caperose@comcast.net

The Friends of the Eldredge Public Library, are sponsoring a House Tour on July 29, 2010 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm. Five charming homes will be open, with authors at each one, signing their books. Tickets will be on sale on June 1 at Puritan in Chatham, Where the Sidewalk Ends, The Yellow Umbrella Bookstore, D'Angelo's, and the Library.

A Flower Show, entitled History in Bloom will be held on August 10 and 11, sponsored by the Garden Club of Yarmouth and the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth. There wil be a display of floral arrangements complimenting eight historic rooms in the Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum. The Kelley Chapel will display plants and herbs. Cut flowers will be for sale and refreshments will be served in the museum garden. Admission is by donation to benefit the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth.
